What data is collected on www.qbo.coffee and used?
1. Collection and use of non-personal data
When you visit our website or open a file and have not unsubscribed from web tracking, specific visitor statistics will be collected and stored anonymously in a log file, e.g. the abbreviated and anonymized IP-address, operating system, browser type and browser settings, if appropriate manufacturer and type designation of your smartphone, tablet or other device, the date, time and duration of your visit and the web page from which our website was accessed. We analyze this information for anonymized statistic evaluation and solely use the results to provide you with individualized marketing content and to monitor and analyze information regarding the browsing and viewing preferences of website users, and to improve the appearance, contents and functionality of the website. 2. Collection and use of personal data
We only collect and use personal data (e.g. name, e-mail address) when you fill out the contact form on our website to communicate with us (e.g. for a service request or ordering our Qbo Trial Vehicle), or by sending us an e-mail.
If you have given your consent to receive the newsletter, Qbo Coffe GmbH will use the disclosed email address to send you advertisement. You can withdraw your consent with effect for the future at any time by sending an email with the subject “Newsletter-Unsubscribe” to “email@example.com.
If you have registered to receive the Qbo Newsletter on the website, Qbo Coffe GmbH will use the disclosed email address to send you interesting coffee facts, news about Qbo and advertisement. You can withdraw your consent with effect for the future at any time by using the unsubscribe link at the end of each newsletter.
Will there be any access to personal data by third parties?
Your personal data will only be transferred to associated companies and service providers in case they work on behalf of Qbo Coffee GmbH to support us in providing our services to you. We transder data, e.g. to our Qbo licence partner Tchibo GmbH (Deutschland) resp. Eduscho (Austria) GmbH in order to be able to answer your questions at the Qbo Service Hotline, to reply to questions you send via the conact form or when you order the Qbo Trial Vehicle and for dispatching the Qbo Newsletter.
These named service providers will only be given access to the specific personal data that is required to fulfill their services, e.g. consultation via the service hotline regarding questions about your machine or your Qbo World profile. They do not have the right to use your information for their own purposes, especially promotional activities.
We do not use your personal data outside the law of the European Union. However we are stating the following juridical reference for the sake of completeness: In the event that personal data is transferred to third parties domiciled outside the scope of the law of the European Union you can withdraw your consent at any time to prevent any future use of the data.
If third parties come into contact with your personal data or personally identifiable information, we have made use of legal, technical and organizational measures and carry out regular monitoring to ensure that such parties also comply with the relevant data protection regulations.
Your personal data is not transferred to other companies for commercial purpose.
What's the story with cookies and other collection technology?

We differentiate between session cookies and persistent cookies.
Session cookies are cookies that are set during a browser session. At the end of a browser session these cookies are deleted. We use session cookies to provide you with a more efficient usability of our website, e.g. when using the filters in our service section.

2. Visitor Analysis
This website uses Piwik, a web analytics open-source software for traffic analysis.
Both use “cookies”, that enable to analyze how users use the site for optimization. For this purpose only relevant usage information will be transmitted to the Qbo server (for Piwik). Your IP address will be anonymized and abbreviated immediately to make sure you stay as a user anonymous for us.
No personal data is transferred. The information collected will not be forwarded to any unauthorized third party provider.
If you do not agree to the data generated by your visit being stored and analyzed, you can withdraw your consent at any time subsequently by clicking the button below. In this event, an "opt-out cookie" will be stored on your computer. This prevents Piwik from collecting any session data.
You unsubscribed from webtracking.
Caution: If you delete your cookies, this will also delete the opt-out cookie, which means that you will have to activate it again.

Qbo Coffee GmbH is not responsible for the privacy practices of any other sites or the content provided thereon.
